ABOUT NATIONAL HOUSING
CORPORATION
National Housing Corporation (NHC)
of P.O Box 2977, Dar es Salaam,
Tanzania is a public enterprise.
The Corporation established in 1962,
was reconstituted in its present
form by the Act of Parliament No.
2 of 1990. The Purpose of this reconstitution
was to enable NHC play an aggregate
role in the housing sector.
In this endeavor,
NHC 's mission is to provide and facilitate
the provision of high quality housing
and other buildings in Tanzania for
use by members of the public for residential
and for commerical purposes.
The vision of NHC is to become a leader
in real estate management and development
in the country. These responsibilities
enhance the limited traditional role
of NHC of constructing low and medium
cost houses for sale as well as for
renting in urban areas.
