MBWENI - DAR ES SALAAM:
Currently, the NHC is constructing two
types of houses for sale at its Mbweni
JKT estate, which is close to Ndege
Beach. The estate is about 35 kms from
Dar es Salaam City centre. The types of
houses that are being constructed in
this estate are up-market bungalow and
double storey houses. These houses are
constructed in medium density plots. The
estate is serviced with fully developed
on- and off-site infrastructure that
includes water, electricity and estate
roads. The following are the particulars
for the said houses:
(i) Double storey House (Type MB1):
The ground floor of the house consists
of a sizeable sitting-room, dining-room,
one en-suite bedroom, kitchen, store,
carport, toilet and bathroom. The first
floor consists of a bathroom, toilet and
three bedrooms one of which is en-suite.
The size of the house is 420m2.
(ii) Bungalow (Type MB5):
The house consists of three bedrooms one
of which is en-suite, sitting–room,
dining–room, kitchen, store, carport,
toilet and bathroom. The size of the
house is 203m2.
The terms and conditions of the sale for
both the double storey and bungalow
houses are as follows:
(i) Down payment is 50% of the sale
price of the house.
(ii) The balance has to be paid within
one year from the date of effecting the
down-payment on quarterly equal
installment.

have understandings to provide housing
loans to our house buyers. These banks
include CRDB Bank, Azania Bancorp and
International Commercial Bank.
